Tywin sent for Cersi to live in King's Landing hoping that she would marry Rhaegar Targaryen. And after the rebellion he married her off to King Robert. Clearly he wanted her to become a queen not just any lord's wife.

As for the second one, I don't see why Tywin would go for that one either. He made Tyrion marry Sansa Stark to further the peace and cement Lannister power. If Tyrion married Asha, Asha might get something out of it, if Tyrion ended up Lord of Casterly Rock then her children would be Lords too, but Tyrion and the Lannisters don't really get anything out of it because Asha isn't the heir, Theon is. Maybe Tywin would count on using Asha as a hostage, but why would Balon agree to that when his only other heir was already a hostage?Chimeradavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14373236451090168388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1589188530348035004.post-90845161375393568552011-08-02T19:19:11.965-07:002011-08-02T19:19:11.965-07:00I liked and like Asha a lot. Since Tywin was willing to consider marrying Cersei to a Greyjoy, he'd jump at the chance of doing it with the dwarf son he so stupidly despises. And I think Asha's enough of a misfit herself to be able to see the man Tyrion really is.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
